Being relatively new to the world of design, this was quite an enlightening experience. Through the course of this internship I learnt a lot about the design thinking process in detail which actually exceeded my expectations given the fact that it was only a one month internship, and was designed in way to get the most out of the limited time.

This really opened my eyes regarding some of the design stages which I used to take for granted and realized the importance of it if done correctly and how important it could be in coming up with effective solutions. The process was quite intense which actually helped a lot in working efficiently with the deadlines, coming up with ideas and being proactive in our approach. Being in a team of 4 also helped in having a diverse approach in the problem solving and was also a great learning experience.

A major positive of the internship was the guidance of the mentors which was available at all times throughout the entire design process. The insights were highly beneficial in making sure we stayed on the right track and have a streamlined approach. Regular interactive sessions with prominent people from the industry was a great addition to the program as the learning came in really handy with our design process.

Lastly I’d like to commend the mentors and everyone involved in designing and conducting this internship seamlessly and making it such a great learning experience, given everything was held online.
