This summer I had the opportunity to intern with the Bridge School. A collaboration between Desmania and N Cube, two of the most prominent design firms in India. As this program aims to give us a first hand experience of the design industry; interning with them has imparted multidisciplinary skills and qualities and also provided me with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the industry; explicitly relating to design research and the ideation process.

From the first phase to the final presentation, the learning has been vast and has in turn made me realize how each of the stages involved in the design process are equally important and correlative.

I have observed a noticeable change in the way I approach a problem statement and how I plan to format and adapt my design research for the same.

Working in a team of four made me realize the essence of team work and how ideation, brain storming and distribution of work made us deliver our design interventions in an efficient manner.

The timely feedback and honest reviews given to us by our mentors were extremely conducive to our design process, especially the ideation stage.

To conclude, my experience with the Bridge School was immensely educative as well as challenging. I am grateful to be a part of this internship and look forward to work with them in future.
